Sr. International Tax Analyst
We are seeking a Senior International Tax Analyst to join a growing global tax team. This role will support international tax compliance, cross-border tax planning, tax reporting, and technical research across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in international taxation, demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, multinational business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review international tax compliance workpapers and reporting schedules related to foreign subsidiaries and cross-border operations.
- Support the preparation of U.S. international informational filings and related calculations involving controlled foreign entities, foreign tax credits, earnings and profits, and international tax provisions.
- Analyze global corporate structures and assist with tax elections, entity classifications, and other strategic tax initiatives.
- Assist with withholding tax compliance, reporting requirements, and related documentation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve tax processes, reporting efficiencies, and compliance controls.
- Research international and cross-border tax matters, document conclusions, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with external advisors, auditors, and regional finance teams on tax projects and compliance requests.
- Support quarterly and annual tax reporting, including reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting international tax and evaluate potential business implications.
- Participate in special projects, business expansion initiatives, and tax planning activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- CPA, MST, MBA, or other advanced tax credential preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in international tax within a public accounting firm, multinational corporation, or a combination of both.
- Strong understanding of U.S. international tax concepts and cross-border reporting requirements.
- Experience supporting foreign subsidiary compliance, tax research, and multinational tax reporting.
- Familiarity with corporate tax software and tax compliance platforms is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including large data analysis and financial modeling.
