Senior Manager, Global Tax – In Office (South Florida)
About the Opportunity
Join a large, multinational organization with a complex global footprint as part of its Global Tax function. This role offers broad exposure across U.S. and international tax matters, with a strong emphasis on strategic projects, technical advisory, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Senior Manager, Global Tax will serve as a key technical resource across the organization, partnering with operational, legal, and development teams to support both ongoing business activities and strategic initiatives. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence decision-making across multiple business units and geographies.
This is an in-office position based in South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area), with a Monday-Thursday on-site schedule and remote flexibility on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Tax & Advisory
- Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. federal, state, and international tax matters
- Provide technical guidance on tax law changes, structuring, financing transactions, and contract review
- Develop tax models, technical memoranda, and presentations to support business decisions and document tax positions
Strategic Projects & Business Support
- Lead and support special tax projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and mitigating risk
- Partner with business units to assess tax implications of strategic initiatives such as market expansion, new developments, and operational changes
- Support consistency in tax treatment and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Global Coordination
- Collaborate with regional tax leaders to understand and monitor tax positions across key international markets (Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, etc.)
- Support coordination of tax technical matters across operational and transactional activities
Compliance & Audit Support
- Provide support on tax audits and interactions with tax authorities
- Assist with preparation or review of workpapers, filings, and refund claims as needed
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison with Legal, HR, finance, and other corporate functions on tax-related matters
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to both tax and non-tax stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of progressive tax experience within a public company, public accounting firm, or law firm
- Strong background in both U.S. and international tax (compliance and advisory)
- Experience with corporate structuring, restructuring, and transactional tax matters
- Advanced tax research, modeling, and analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel and tax research tools
Preferred:
- Experience supporting multinational operations across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong project management and organizational skills
