Payroll Accounting Manager
We are supporting a high-growth global technology business in the appointment of a Payroll Accounting Manager to strengthen its finance and accounting function.
This is a broad role with ownership of payroll accounting, month-end and quarter-end close activities, reconciliations, controls and compliance, alongside a significant focus on improving and automating accounting processes as the business continues to scale.
The Payroll Accounting Manager will be responsible for:
- Taking ownership of payroll accounting, including reconciliation, compliance and reporting
- Leading key elements of the month-end and quarter-end close process
- Developing accounting procedures, policies and internal controls
- Driving process improvement, automation and greater efficiency across accounting
- Supporting accounting systems development and implementation
- Partnering with external auditors and cross-functional stakeholders
We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with 7+ years’ experience, including strong payroll accounting expertise and ideally experience within a public company, high-growth or technology environment. CPA or an equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous.
