About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on tax leader to shape and direct the company’s global tax function while partnering closely with senior leadership across the business.
The Head of Tax will oversee global tax compliance, reporting, planning, and risk management activities while driving process improvements and supporting business growth initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight and provides broad exposure across domestic and international tax matters.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office attendance Monday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
Global Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Lead U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance activities
- Oversee global tax calendars, estimated tax payments, and filing requirements
- Manage annual and quarterly income tax provisions under ASC 740
- Oversee indirect tax compliance and reporting requirements
Tax Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize the company’s global tax position
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic initiatives
- Lead transfer pricing strategy and support cross-border business activities
- Analyze tax implications of operational and organizational changes
Risk Management & Tax Controversy
- Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across global operations
- Manage tax audits, examinations, and dispute resolution efforts
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the business
- Ensure compliance with evolving domestic and international tax laws
Cross-Functional Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key business stakeholders
- Partner with finance, legal, operations, and other functional groups on tax matters
- Align tax strategies with broader organizational objectives
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and mentor tax team members
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration
- Support succession planning and professional development initiatives
Process Improvement & Technology
- Drive automation and modernization of tax processes
- Improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of tax operations
- Enhance utilization of ERP, tax provision, and compliance systems
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive corporate tax experience with exposure to both U.S. and international tax matters
- Experience leading tax compliance, provision, planning, and audit activities
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740, FIN 48, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leadership
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Taxation or related discipline
- CPA or other advanced tax credentials
- Experience with multinational operations and global tax structures
- Familiarity with major ERP and tax technologies (e.g., Oracle, OneSource, or similar platforms)

Compensation
- Base salary range: $160,000 – $200,000
- Annual bonus/incentive eligibility
