Senior Tax Analyst (Hybrid)
Location: Metro Detroit Area (Hybrid)

A growing organization is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its finance and accounting team. This position offers exposure to tax provision, compliance, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with domestic and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including financial statement disclosures.
- Support the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns.
- Manage fixed asset tax accounting and reporting processes.
- Prepare tax-related journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with sales and use tax and property tax compliance activities.
- Collaborate with international teams to support U.S. GAAP tax reporting requirements.
- Contribute to tax process improvements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax compliance.
- Experience preparing and reviewing ASC 740 tax provisions.
- Partnership taxation experience preferred.
- Familiarity with international and foreign tax concepts is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with tax and financial reporting systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively with external advisors and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
