Brewer Morris is delighted to be supporting a long-standing international law firm client in the search for a commercially astute Pricing Manager to join their growing global Pricing & Commercial function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pricing professional to take on a highly visible role, working closely with senior partners and business leaders to shape commercial strategy across a complex international business.

The Opportunity

As Pricing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping the firm develop and execute sophisticated pricing solutions that support client relationships, improve profitability, and enhance competitive positioning. Working across multiple practice areas and jurisdictions, you will be a trusted commercial adviser on high-value and strategically important matters.

This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and the opportunity to influence pricing decisions on complex domestic and cross-border work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership, partners, and legal teams to develop commercially effective pricing strategies.
  • Lead the preparation of fee proposals, Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs), and bespoke commercial models for complex matters.
  • Support client negotiations through robust financial and commercial analysis.
  • Analyse profitability, pricing performance, and market trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop pricing approaches for technology-enabled and innovative legal service offerings.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of pricing frameworks, governance, and best practices across the firm.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Business Development, Legal Project Management, and practice group leadership teams.

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess:

  • Proven experience within pricing, commercial finance, profitability, revenue management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within a law firm or broader professional services environment would be particularly advantageous.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence senior decision-makers.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Location & Working Pattern

  • Hybrid working model with a minimum of three days per week in a UK office.
  • Given the international nature of the role, occasional flexibility around working hours may be required to support cross-border stakeholders and client opportunities.

Why Consider This Role?

  • Join a globally recognised law firm with a strong international platform.
  • Work on high-profile matters and strategic commercial initiatives.
  • Gain exposure to senior partners and business leadership teams.
  • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking pricing function that continues to grow in influence and importance.
