🚨 New Opportunity | Indirect Tax Manager 🚨

I’m partnering with a large, acquisitive organisation in the building materials sector that is building out a newly centralised Tax Shared Services function. This is an excellent opportunity for an indirect tax professional who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and making a meaningful impact within a growing organisation.

📍 Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Lead U.S. sales & use tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions

✅ Review indirect tax filings and compliance processes

✅ Support tax technology and ERP integrations, including Vertex and SAP environments

✅ Partner with stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, Procurement, AP, AR, IT, and Operations

✅ Support indirect tax audits and compliance risk management

✅ Drive process improvements, automation, and standardisation initiatives

✅ Help shape a growing Shared Services organisation from the ground up

What We’re Looking For

✔ Indirect tax compliance experience (sales & use tax)

✔ Experience managing a team or outsourced compliance function

✔ Background in large corporate or multi-entity environments

✔ Experience with Vertex and/or SAP highly preferred

✔ Process improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a changing environment

✔ Manufacturing, construction, distribution, or similar industry experience is a plus
