When there is a need for structure

As a start-up matures, it transitions from an informal, flexible environment to a more structured and process-driven company. Additionally, creating formal processes for budgeting, reporting, compliance, and business development requires seasoned executives who understand the complexities of scaling a business.

When the founders or early leaders need to focus on growth

Finally, the decision to build the C-suite can come when the company’s founders or initial leaders recognize that their role needs to evolve from managing day-to-day operations to focusing on larger strategic priorities. This shift often occurs as the company grows in size, complexity, and ambition.
