About the role:

I’m partnering with a global logistics and delivery business to find a talented Manager Group Tax to join its Amsterdam headquarters.

Working closely as the number two to the Director Group Tax, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their expertise while also having the autonomy to make a real impact within an international organisation.

The role has a strong focus on Dutch corporate income tax and international tax, alongside exposure to transfer pricing, M&A, Pillar Two and other Group Tax matters. Given the breadth of the position, the company is particularly looking for someone who is proactive, curious and keen to continue learning and developing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Director Group Tax across a broad range of Dutch and international corporate tax matters.
  • Manage Dutch corporate tax matters arising from the Group’s headquarters and wider international structure.
  • Identify tax risks and take ownership of progressing matters appropriately, rather than simply escalating them.
  • Support M&A activities, including tax due diligence, identifying key tax risks and managing tax workstreams against commercial transaction deadlines.
  • Support transfer pricing matters across the international Group.
  • Contribute to Pillar Two and other international tax developments affecting the business.
  • Help improve tax processes, controls and documentation.
  • Work closely with local finance teams, tax authorities and external advisers across multiple jurisdictions.

About you:

  • Strong knowledge of Dutch corporate income tax.
  • Experience with international corporate tax matters.
  • Experience gained within a Big Four firm, tax advisory firm, international corporate environment, or a combination of these.
  • Some practical exposure to M&A, tax due diligence or transaction-related tax matters.
  • A working understanding of transfer pricing.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to Pillar Two.
  • Comfortable managing projects and workstreams involving multiple stakeholders.
  • A proactive and hands-on mindset, with the confidence to take ownership of matters and communicate clearly.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

If you’re looking for a broad Group Tax position where you can continue developing technically while working closely with an experienced Tax Director and taking real ownership of your work, I’d be happy to tell you more.
