We are partnering with a global, high-growth organization to identify a Head of Tax to lead tax strategy, operations, and transformation across the region.

This is a newly created role with a clear mandate: move from an outsourced, Excel-heavy environment to a more modern, in-house, tech-enabled tax function, while acting as a key advisor to the business.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead all tax matters across the Americas (U.S. + LATAM), including federal, state, and international considerations
  • Oversee income tax provision (ASC 740), compliance, and reporting
  • Drive the transition to in-house tax return preparation
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and potential tax technology solutions
  • Partner closely with finance, operations, and commercial leadership to inform business decisions
  • Manage external advisors and optimize vendor relationships
  • Lead tax audits and ensure strong controls and governance
  • Develop and mentor existing team members while shaping the future team structure

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive tax experience with strong U.S. federal and multi-state tax expertise
  • Deep experience with ASC 740 / tax provision
  • Exposure to international tax concepts (e.g., BEAT, FDII, transfer pricing)
  • Proven ability to improve processes, automate, or bring work in-house
  • Experience operating within a corporate/in-house environment (Big 4 + industry is ideal)
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, build-oriented mindset
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-tax stakeholders

Why This Role

  • Newly created position with high visibility and real ownership
  • Opportunity to build and modernize a tax function from the ground up
  • Significant exposure to senior leadership and global stakeholders
  • Broad regional scope across U.S. and Latin America

Location & Flexibility

  • Open to candidates based in the U.S.
  • Fully remote flexibility available for the right candidate
  • Full relocation package offered if preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base + bonus
  • Strong health and retirement benefits
  • Additional perks and global mobility opportunities

If you’re interested in a role where you can shape strategy, build processes, and operate as a true business partner, this is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership seat.
