US/UK Tax Manager
US/UK Tax Manager | London (2 days in the office)
I’m currently working with a highly respected, partner-owned firm looking to bring in a Manager to their established UK/US tax team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing team that invests heavily in its employees to both professionally and personally to ensure they thrive and reach their full potential.
What stands out?
✅ Managers are encouraged to lead with clients – this isn’t a back-office role, you’ll build relationships and take ownership early
✅ True advisory focus – compliance is the foundation, but tax planning and adding value is what sets the team apart
✅ Full-service offering – collaborate across corporate tax, investigations and wider advisory
✅ Partner-owned culture – long-term thinking, high-quality client work, no short-term PE pressures
✅ Work/life balance that’s actually respected – strong offshore support reduces hours + flexible/WFH culture embedded pre-COVID
✅ Strong track record of progression and retention
✅ Continued investment in people – the firm is actively hiring graduates and has no plans to scale this back despite AI developments, reinforcing their long-term commitment to developing talent
The team works with US individuals resident in the UK, non-domicile and non-resident individuals, navigating complex cross-border tax matters.
To be successful, you’ll need:
* EA and ATT (or equivalent) qualifications
* Strong UK & US tax compliance experience
* A proactive, client-focused mindset
* An interest in mentoring others and getting involved in advisory work
If you’re looking for a role where you can own client relationships, develop advisory exposure, and be supported in building a long-term career, this would be a great move.
