Brewer Morris is exclusively working with this established tech business searching for a Tax Manager to join the finance team in London.

Due to impressive growth through acquisitions, this is a newly created Tax Manager position and you will report to the Finance Director. You will be supported by the advisors, London accounting and overseas finance teams. This is an excellent opportunity for you to build your own tax function with long-term prospects of hiring your own team.

A few of your key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee corporate and indirect tax compliance, including tax calculations, returns and disclosures
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisers and authorities, group tax teams and liaising with HMRC when necessary
  • Support tax risk management and tax planning activities and keep up to date with local tax legislation
  • Dealing with compliance across multiple tax areas, including VAT, PAYE, CT, WHT, Transfer Pricing, and Pillar 2.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory filing obligations.
  • Lead the tax relevant work around acquisitions, restructurings and other corporate transactions.
  • Develop internal controls around different areas of tax to foster a high-performance culture.

To be considered for this position, you should ideally be ACA, CTA, or ACCA qualified with broad corporate tax and indirect tax experience. Candidates with significant direct or indirect tax experience who wish to broaden their skills will be considered. Excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.

Part-time candidates seeking 4 days a week will also be considered.

This opportunity offers £70,000-£80,000 salary plus benefits. The tax team are office-based 2-3 days a week in central London.
