A leading global professional services firm is looking for a Senior Revenue Manager to join the team. This is a newly created role, needing someone to take ownership of revenue performance, working capital optimisation and team leadership across its London office. This is a high‑impact role for someone confident working with Partners and senior stakeholders managing risk and driving strong billing and cash outcomes.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the full working capital cycle runs smoothly from time recording through to billing strategy and cash collection. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you’ll provide clear guidance on exposure, profitability, and recovery, while leading a team who deliver first‑class support across WIP, billing and debt management.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee WIP, aged debt and revenue performance, identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Lead monthly revenue reviews and partner discussions on billing, exposure and collection plans.
  • Drive improvements in time‑to‑bill, time‑to‑cash and overall working capital efficiency.
  • Monitor financial risk on major matters and implement strategies to maximise recoveries and reduce write‑offs.
  • Provide analysis and commentary to support decision‑making on pricing, matter margins and budget planning.
  • Review write‑off trends and partner behaviours to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
  • Build and refine commercial reporting that highlights key drivers of revenue performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of revenue and working capital professionals.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex billing or client issues, providing calm, solutions‑focused guidance.
  • Build strong relationships with Partners, fee‑earners and support teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience in revenue, billing or working capital within a professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Confident communicator able to challenge, advise and de‑escalate when necessary.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capability; 3E experience is a bonus.
