Real Estate Tax Senior Manager – Advisory

Work spans tax structuring, due diligence, compliance and advisory services across a wide range of asset classes including commercial, office, student accommodation, industrial and logistics, retail and hospitality.

The Role
As an Associate Director within the Real Estate Tax team, you will:
- Join a highly regarded and experienced team working on complex and high-profile client matters.
- Take an active role in developing and mentoring junior team members, supporting both technical and career progression.
- Advise on significant UK and cross-border real estate and infrastructure transactions, including large-scale acquisitions, disposals and restructurings.
- Lead client relationships and project delivery, acting as a trusted adviser to investors, funds and corporate clients.
- Work closely with Partners and Directors across Tax and the wider business to deliver integrated solutions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Take ownership of your workstream while helping shape the future direction of the practice.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will typically have:
- ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong UK corporate tax experience, ideally gained within a Real Estate Tax environment.
- A track record of managing and developing junior team members.
- Experience advising clients on complex tax matters and delivering commercially focused solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in the UK real estate market and involvement in business development activities, including working collaboratively with senior leadership teams to develop client relationships and win work, would be particularly valuable.

- Tax structuring for UK and international real estate transactions.
- Cross-border tax advice and transaction due diligence.
- Real estate fund structuring, including REITs and other investment vehicles.
