An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing in‑house tax team within a globally recognised organisation. This newly created position sits within the Group Tax function and offers exposure to complex employment and expatriate tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.

The role is based in West London. Hybrid working is on offer, with the expectation of 3 days a week in the office.

This is a technically varied and intellectually stimulating role, ideal for a Manager or Senior Manager working in a Big 4 firm, who has a solid grounding expatriate tax and is keen to move in-house. Individuals currently working in-house and seeking a new challenge will also be considered.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and overseeing employment tax, social security and expatriate matters across the group. You will be comfortable navigating complex tax landscapes, advising stakeholders clearly and pragmatically, and operating within an established risk framework.

Working closely with the Group Employment Tax Manager, responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting employment and expatriate tax compliance, audits and advisory work
  • Providing expert guidance on UK employment tax, social security and global mobility matters
  • Preparing and submitting employment tax returns including PSA, STBV and share scheme filings
  • Monitoring legislative developments, assessing business impact and supporting implementation of required changes
  • Testing existing controls, identifying risks and recommending process improvements
  • Managing relationships with external advisers and tax authorities to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices, applying insights to enhance internal processes
  • Keeping senior team members informed of key employee tax matters and emerging risks

This role offers the chance to work at scale, build deep technical expertise in a global environment, and be part of a respected in‑house tax function within a dynamic and fast‑moving business.
