A rare opportunity for an Employment Tax Manager to join the in-house tax team of a well known organisation. This is a 12-14 month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This role offers genuine flexibility, ideal for someone looking to make an impact while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

You’ll be the go-to advisor for all employment tax matters, including:

* PSA and P11D reporting

* Advising on termination payments

* IR35 assessments and guidance

* Payroll and NMW queries

* CIS compliance support

* Conducting risk and control reviews for SAO obligations

* Supporting implementation of payrolling Benefits-in-Kind

* Liaising with HMRC and external advisors

* Providing employment tax input on M&A projects

To succeed, you will need:

* Extensive experience in a broad range of UK employment taxes issues

* Knowledge of HMRC audits, disclosures and settlements

* Strong communication skills to decode complex tax technical matters

* Ability to start late February-mid March

* Ability to travel to London and elsewhere approximately every other week

In-house employment tax roles are already uncommon – part-time ones with this level of autonomy and flexibility are even rarer. This is a standout opportunity for a seasoned employment tax specialist who enjoys varied advisory work and operating as a trusted internal expert.
