Accounting Analyst
We are supporting a leading global infrastructure investment firm in the search for a Financial Analyst to join its Finance & Operations team in Amsterdam.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and ambitious finance professional to play a key role within a growing international finance function.
The position offers broad exposure across UK and international legal entities, with responsibility spanning core accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory support. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party service providers, contributing to a best-in-class finance platform that supports investment, capital raising, and operational teams globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for external accounting service providers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of outputs
- Review journals, ledger postings, reconciliations, and financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high standard
- Review and validate employee expenses in line with company policies and accounting treatment
- Assist with preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements
- Support regulatory compliance activities, including monitoring capital and liquidity requirements and assisting with filings (e.g. FCA, CSSF)
- Coordinate audit deliverables, ensuring appropriate documentation and timely responses to auditors
- Provide financial insight and updates to internal stakeholders, highlighting risks or discrepancies where relevant
- Contribute to process improvements across finance operations and internal controls
- Assist with treasury-related activities, including cash flow monitoring and funding coordination
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience in accounting or finance, ideally within financial or professional services
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle
- Familiarity with reviewing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and/or IFRS, with exposure to statutory reporting requirements
