Tax Manager

 We are business partners to some of the world’s most famous and successful consumer brands as well as young, entrepreneurial start ups. Rexam's sales from ongoing operations are approximately £3.7 billion. We employ some 23,000 people in more than 20 countries and are a member of the FTSE 100. The high profile corporate tax team is located at the group’s headquarters in central London and is now seeking to strengthen the team through recruiting a further Tax Manager.

You will provide key tax planning support to the Tax Director on a range of projects including: 

• Management of a portfolio of internal planning projects, including international legal entity structuring, transfer pricing and tax aspects of operational expansion.
• Provision of a full tax service on selected M&A projects, including managing advisers on due diligence reviews, identification of structuring requirements, cross-functional liaison, legal review and taking a lead on implementation.
• Assistance with the further development and implementation of tax strategy and risk management.
• Assistance with management of tax reporting and compliance for selected overseas businesses. This role will provide you with the opportunity to become involved with most aspects of corporate tax affecting a multinational PLC, particularly involving overseas operations, M&A and restructuring issues.

You will be an excellent communicator with strong accounting skills and have gained exposure to international tax matters in the commercial environment.
