Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and assist in the review of the US International Tax Return Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 5472 and 1120-F and supporting workpapers, disclosures and statements (tax filings are primary international)
  • Prepare and assist in the review of the US Domestic Tax Return Forms 1120, 1065 and supporting workpapers, disclosures and statements
  • Prepare and assist in the review of computations associated with the foreign tax credit and Form 1118
  • Prepare workpapers and calculate tax adjustments for U.S. International tax filings with emphasis on depreciation, amortization, financial products, debt instruments, methods of accounting, and transaction impacts
  • Gather and analyze foreign and domestic entity information and communicating with foreign and domestic teams/co-workers
  • Review filings required for foreign bank account reporting
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly provision and E&P projections measuring US tax impact of foreign operations (Sub F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, etc.)
  • Assist with improving tax compliance processes and increased use of software tools with a view toward improving efficiencies, effectiveness, and controls across routine and ad hoc activities
  • Assist with FATCA process, EIN maintenance and analysis of entities as well as completion of W-8s/W-9s and self-certifications
  • Assist in both compliance and tax planning aspects of special projects as needed; including, but not limited to, projections, basis and gain/loss measurement, transaction review, preparation of presentations and meeting materials
  • Teach and develop staff with respect to tax processes and procedures, excel and software utilization, basic tax concepts, and forms preparation
  • Supervise outside contractors as needed

Preferred education/ qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • CPA preferred

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 3-4 years of corporate tax experience in either public accounting or industry.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Proficiency in OneSource tax software preferred
  • Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skill
  • Must be thorough and detail oriented
