Tax Senior Associate
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file a individual, partnership, and corporation tax returns for affiliated businesses and partners
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all federal and state tax regulations
- Research and analyze complex tax issues related to multi-tiered business structures (partnerships and corporations)
- Assist with responding to notices, sales tax audits, and income tax audits (after tax season)
- Maintain detailed tax records and documentation
- Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations (CCH Access experience preferred)
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of individual, partnership, and corporation tax principles
- Experience with tax software (CCH Access preferred, GoSystems experience acceptable)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment a plus
