This Senior Tax Manager can work remote or hybrid. This position is also open to relocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns.
- Act as a liaison with various business leaders to address tax implications across departments. Collaborate with finance, legal, and business units on M&A endeavors, conducting tax due diligence, assessing tax components in acquisition agreements, and facilitating post-acquisition integration and compliance
- Keep abreast of tax law and regulatory updates, ensuring the company maintains compliance with evolving tax standards.
- Lead the preparation and examination of the consolidated income tax provision, including crafting tax disclosures for the company’s SEC filings.
- Formulate and execute tax strategies to enhance the company’s tax position and mitigate tax obligations
- Spearhead projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a tax professional in a public accounting firm and/or in a corporate tax department.
Nice to have:
- J.D., CPA, or Publicly Traded Company experience
- Experience in M&A or technical tax work
