A rapidly expanding global media company is seeking a Senior Financial Control Manager to lead and grow its financial control team.

With operations across multiple regions and ambitious plans for continued growth, this is a key leadership role within the Finance function. You’ll take ownership of financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements that support a dynamic, evolving business. Beyond leading the current team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and scale the function, influencing financial governance at a global level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the financial control team fostering a collaborative culture
  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and UKGAAP.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, delivering high-quality financial statements.
  • Coordinate group and statutory audits, acting as the key contact with external auditors.
  • Strengthen internal controls and implement best practices to and ensure compliance.
  • Review and refine financial policies and procedures to support a growing global business.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA /ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical expertise.
  • Experience in an accounting practice
  • Extensive experience in financial control, audit, or similar roles within complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and scale teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP; tax and transfer pricing exposure is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient with Excel and comfortable working with ERP systems and financial technology tools.
