Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Operations and Development teams to build scalable revenue processes in NetSuite.
  • Evaluate current revenue recognition procedures, identify areas for enhancement, and implement improvements to streamline processes and expedite the closing and reporting timelines.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and supporting schedules.
  • Provide support during quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Partner with various business units in the review of client agreements to assess the revenue recognition impact.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, working closely with the Finance team to investigate discrepancies and contribute to the budgeting process.
  • Complete special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Master’s degree or CPA license preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in revenue accounting and / or internal or external audit.
  • Technical and practical knowledge of revenue recognition standards ASC 606 required.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • High level of detail orientation paired with a commitment to accuracy in precision
