International VAT Analyst interim VAT compliance tax job which is fully remote working in the UK, requires an experienced VAT Accountant or Assistant VAT Manager for this 9 months interim international VAT job.

Reporting to the VAT Manager and joining an international VAT team, the interim International VAT Analyst can work from any part of the UK (please only apply if you are currently living in the UK, this role cannot be worked from a country outside of the UK).

The interim VAT requirement has arisen through a peak in workload and the focus of the role is on preparing the VAT returns for the UK and a portfolio of EU countries, along with VAT accounting duties regarding reconciliation of accounts, overseeing the tax payments process and assisting on audits.

To be considered for this role it is essential to have UK VAT compliance experience, preferably combined with the compliance of other countries, namely within Europe. Advanced Excel usage is required along with being available to start the position in April and to commit to the duration through to the end of 2024.
