Assistant Tax Manager – FTSE 250

Brewer Morris is exclusively working with a FTSE 250 tech business to search for a Tax Assistant Manager located in London.

You will be working for an innovative business with a large focus on sustainability and a mission to drive transformation in the world. As an Assistant Tax Manager, you will report to the Senior Tax Manager and assist with the UK tax compliance and ad hoc advisory duties. Some of your responsibilities include:

• Preparing the UK corporate tax returns and computations.
• Assist with the interim and year-end tax model to prepare the group tax provisioning under IFRS.
• Support the team with a broad range of direct tax matters like Pillar 2 obligations, Country by Country Reporting, Senior Accounting Officer (SAO), CCO, and R&D claims.
• Provide ad-hoc advisory support on M&A matters, transactions, and other project work.

To be considered for this position, you will ideally be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified with a good foundation of UK corporate tax compliance experience. The hiring manager will also assess your motivations, eagerness to develop, and ability to communicate.

In return, you will receive a salary package of £65,000 plus car allowance and 18% discretionary bonus. The team follow a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office.
