I am working with a Private-Equity backed Education business to hire a Tax Advisory Manager to join the team and be involved in M&A, Transfer Pricing & UK & International Tax Advisory projects. There is a hybrid working policy and you must be in the Central London office 3 days per week and 2 days at home.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with external advisors and corporate development in order to support in all m&a projects
  • Provide advice and support on the international tax aspects of acquisitions, disposals and group reorganisations and integrations
  • Provide support for global tax planning initiatives and projects which relate to the group’s overall strategy
  • Provide tax support for the group’s cash repatriation strategy
  • Assist in building and maintaining contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation for the group, including master file and local file process across the group
  • Assist in documenting and communicating any transfer pricing or tax implications of transactions and tax positions taken for tax reporting and compliance purposes
  • Assist in other advisory tax projects
  • Provide guidance in respect of international tax and transfer pricing matters
  • Working with tax advisors across the world to provide optimum tax solutions for the business
  • Assist and coordinate tax and transfer pricing audit defence
  • Monitor tax legislation and recommend actions / strategies to implement in order to position the Group in the most advantageous tax position

Skills & Experience required:

  • Chartered Accountant with suitable tax training, with time spent in industry in an international organisation essential
  • Degree holder
  • Big 4 trained with time spent in industry
  • Experience of dealing with international tax matters, including tax structuring and M&A and tax controversy management
  • Experience in developing, managing, monitoring and improving global tax strategies, policies and documentation
