A well established and economically stable business requires an experienced and proactive International Tax Manager to join their in-house tax team on an interim basis covering maternity leave. This is a high-impact role supporting the Head of Tax and working closely with Treasury, Finance, and Legal teams across their global operations.

During the 12 months period, key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan repatriation of foreign cash and profits via dividends and inter-company lending.
  • Advise Treasury and overseas subsidiaries on funding strategies, FX exposure, and thin capitalization rules.
  • Manage withholding tax treaty applications and ensure transfer pricing support for inter-company interest rates.
  • Monitor tax compliance across global subsidiaries, including filing and payment deadlines.
  • Lead internal legal entity restructuring projects (e.g., mergers, liquidations, refinancing).
  • Support tax aspects of acquisitions and disposals, including due diligence and structuring.

The successful applicant will have a strong experience in international tax, ideally with exposure to cross-border issues and corporate transactions, in conjunction with a background in UK tax.

Hybrid working is on offer with 3 days per week to be worked in their Central London office.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a strategic tax role within a dynamic international environment, where the work will be on complex, high-value projects and will involve collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business.
