Head of Finance
A fast-growing global real estate firm with a specialist focus on data centres is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to join its London team.
This is a broad, high-impact role offering full end-to-end ownership of financial operations. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, and commercial teams, as well as external partners, to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and deliver meaningful commercial insight.
Based in the heart of London and offering an excellent remuneration package, this opportunity is ideal for a finance leader looking to make a tangible impact in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You’ll manage one direct report and take responsibility for all financial controls, processes, and reporting – including FP&A, M&A activity, and CAPEX oversight.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading financial strategy and performance for a high-revenue portfolio.
- Acting as a key business partner to senior stakeholders across the business.
- Overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
- Driving FP&A and supporting investment decisions, cost transformation, and M&A.
- Managing cashflow, optimising collections, and resolving customer disputes.
- Reviewing power billing and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Leading audit processes and liaising with external auditors.
- Developing and mentoring your direct report to foster a high-performance culture.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive PQE
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within real estate, infrastructure, or with contracts experience
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and presenting financials to senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in managing teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Proficient with Excel and other ERP systems
