A leading FTSE-listed global natural resources company is seeking a technically strong Financial Reporting Accountant to join its high-performing team. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this business offers exceptional opportunities for internal progression and professional growth.

Based in the heart of the city on a hybrid basis, you’ll work alongside an impressive and collaborative finance team committed to sustainable growth. In this pivotal role, you will deliver accurate and timely financial reporting while partnering with key stakeholders across Group Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Legal. You’ll gain exposure to strategic projects and complex transactions as the organisation undergoes an exciting period of transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare interim and year-end financial submissions for Group reporting.
  • Perform data loads and manage consolidations for multiple entities.
  • Support statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors.
  • Partner with Group Tax on year-end returns and compliance.
  • Contribute to corporate planning, forecasting, and transaction-related activities.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and support system enhancements including implementation of new systems
  • Build strong relationships across global functions and business units.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally trained in practice with at least 1-year PQE.
  • Exposure to large, complex organisations (industry experience preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of statutory reporting and consolidations including IFRS & UK GAAP
  • Proficiency Microsoft Excel and financial systems (SAP, Hyperion).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
