I’m delighted to be partnering with a highly respected global professional services firm to recruit an Assistant Manager or Manager within its employment tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional looking to step into a client-facing, advisory-focused role within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The firm is known for its inclusive culture, commitment to quality, and agile approach to client service. The role offers flexibility, career progression, and the chance to work on a broad range of employment tax matters across a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on employment tax issues including PAYE, NIC, IR35, and employment status.
  • Support the design and implementation of tax-efficient reward and benefits strategies.
  • Manage compliance risks and year-end reporting obligations.
  • Conduct employment tax reviews (e.g. due diligence, health checks).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a professional tax or accounting qualification and have a solid grounding in UK employment tax within a professional services environment. Individuals with in-house experience however will also be considered.

In return, you will join a business that has a strong focus on development and will be offered ample opportunity to progress your career.

If you’re an experienced UK employment tax professional looking for your next challenge in a values-led, people-first firm, I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch to arrange a confidential conversation – sarahreid@brewermorris.com.

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However, we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
