Our client, a global organisation in their sector, is seeking a senior indirect tax professional to lead their EMEA function. This is a high-impact, strategic role overseeing compliance, risk, and optimisation of indirect tax across a complex international landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead indirect tax strategy and compliance across EMEA.
  • Oversee VAT flows and manage associated risks.
  • Drive automation, outsourcing, and process improvement.
  • Develop tax control frameworks and cashflow reporting.
  • Act as tax lead on ERP and digital tax initiatives.
  • Advise on complex supply chains and transactions.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and external providers.
  • Monitor legislative changes and deliver internal training.
  • Collaborate with relevant business units.

Requirements

  • ACA and/or CTA qualified.
  • 15+ years’ experience in indirect tax within a multinational or Big 4.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially focused with a track record of delivering change.
  • Familiarity with SAP and tax technology is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
