We are exclusively working with a global luxury brand which is searching for a Corporate Tax Manager to join the tax team in central London.

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for both UK and international tax matters with the guidance of the Head of Corporate Tax.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Primary responsibility for UK corporate tax returns (preparation currently outsourced)
  • Support the Head of Corporate Tax in overseeing the international tax compliance
  • Coordinate Pillar Two compliance process, Hybrids analysis, Controlled Foreign Company analysis
  • Review externally prepared Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) workings
  • Partner with the legal/finance teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with withholding tax reporting requirements globally
  • Support the review of tax risks, controls and implementation of process improvements including SAO, CCO and SOx internal control requirements
  • Cooperate with the Group’s external auditors to ensure the timely resolution of tax provision queries, both at quarter/year end and during the preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Assist with tax reporting for statutory financial statements across UK entities under FRS102
  • Assist other members of the tax team with ad-hoc advisory projects

To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax and tax accounting experience. This role is open to both in-house professionals and candidates from a Big 4/Top 20 firm background. The Head of Corporate Tax is looking for someone who is proactive, a team player, and able to communicate effectively.

This opportunity will pay £70,000-£80,000 plus benefits. The team follow a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the central London office.
