Brewer Morris – 2025 Q1 Treasury update

April 10, 2025

The treasury recruitment market, like most other areas was very up and down in 2024, there were busy pockets and spells however it really felt like it never got going.  We were constantly waiting on something to happen before hiring took place, such as our election, the US election and budgets.  Having looked at this, we expected 2025 to get off to a cautious start, with hiring ramping up as we went through the year.  I am pleased to say this was not the case, from the first week back the team have been picking up great roles, across a range of levels and industries.  The Brewer Morris treasury team have had their second best ever Q1 performance, through NFI and job flow.

In January and February we picked up more jobs than over any two month period last year.  The busiest levels have been the Treasury Analyst market and the Senior Manager/Assistant Treasurer level.

Q2 promises to be an exciting period with a range of events for the team, from Future Leaders to a Head of Tax and Treasury breakfast and the ACT conference

We have also welcomed a new hire to the team, Steph, who is joining with a wealth of experience to specialise in our junior-mid level.  This is an exciting hire for us and it cements our position as being the biggest treasury specific recruitment team in the market.
