Tax Lawyer – c. 5 PQE | US Law Firm | £300k Base + Bonus + Benefits | London
An elite US law firm is seeking a talented Tax Lawyer (c. 5 years PQE) to join its highly regarded London team. This is a standout opportunity to step into a warm, collaborative, and genuinely supportive group within one of the most respected transactional practices in the market.
You will work across a broad range of complex, high-value, cross‑border matters, including:
  • Private credit transactions
  • Leveraged finance and broader banking matters
  • Corporate/M&A tax issues for major global clients
  • Structuring and advisory support on sophisticated investment platforms
The team is deeply integrated with the firm’s broader transactional practices, offering exceptional exposure and the chance to build relationships with some of the most impressive clients and partners in the market.
We welcome applicants who are:
  • Qualified in any jurisdiction (England & Wales qualification not essential)
  • Around 5 years’ post‑qualification experience
  • Experienced in private credit or other transaction‑focused tax work
  • Currently in another law firm, or
  • Coming from a Big 4 transaction tax / deals tax team and looking to transition back into private practice
