Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain systems, processes, and controls that support the bank account structure and daily cash operations.
  • Monitor financial counterparty risk, provide required reports, and escalate concerns promptly.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations within the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring balances match uploaded bank statements.
  • Prepare, validate, and distribute daily cash dealing positions in collaboration with Front Office teams and the Cash Manager to ensure approved treasury transactions are executed.
  • Upload and track BACS payment files through the third-party gateway.
  • Set up and monitor intercompany recharges and dividend payments, including those related to tax, payroll, and healthcare.
  • Respond to internal and external audit queries regarding payments, cash management, and treasury controls.
  • Assist with annual reviews and updates of treasury policies and related documentation.

Desired skills

  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
  • Strong IT skills and an eagerness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to clearly communicate treasury information to senior managers outside the Treasury function.
  • Skilled at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines for time-sensitive tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Confidence in managing relationships with external stakeholders.
