Contract Treasury Project Manager – Transformation Project (12-Month FTC)

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Treasury Project Manager to support a major transformation initiative with a strong treasury focus. This 12-month contract role will play a critical part in reconfiguring payment processes and enhancing end-to-end financial operations across ERP and TMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the reconfiguration of payment file structures, ensuring alignment with straight-through processing (STP) requirements across multiple systems.
  • Assess and optimize end-to-end finance processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and accounting workflows, with a focus on control and compliance.
  • Implement and manage automated bank reconciliation processes across multiple bank accounts and legal entities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and embed operational models that support treasury transformation goals.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience leading payment file reconfiguration projects, ideally with exposure to Oracle Fusion, AccessPay, and Barclays.net.
  • Strong understanding of UK payment systems and regulations, including BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT, and Faster Payments (card acquiring experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and redesign financial processes to support system changes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Track record of implementing automated reconciliation solutions and designing teams to support ongoing operations.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive change across complex environments.
