A prominent retail business listed on the NYSE is searching for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join an in-house tax team located in Watford.

As a Corporate Tax Accountant, you will report to the Head of Tax. This position was created as the previous appointment was promoted. Some of your responsibilities include:

  • All aspects of corporate tax compliance and compliance with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO).
  • UK tax reporting and forecasting (current and deferred tax provisioning for UK GAAP statutory accounts purposes).
  • Assist with tax planning work for international entities.
  • Ad hoc tax technical advice to key stakeholders across the business.

To be considered for this position, you will ideally be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified with a good foundation of UK corporate tax compliance and tax accounting experience. Both practice and in-house candidates will be considered.

In return, you will receive a salary package of £60,000-£65,000 depending on experience plus a 15% discretionary bonus, car allowance and a host of benefits. The team follow a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and free car parking is offered.

Part-time candidates will be considered on a 4-day basis.
