Treasury Finance Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £85,000 – £95,000 + bonus
Duration: 12 Months FTC
Start Date: mid-May/late-May
Our client is looking for a qualified Accountant to lead on hedge accounting and treasury accounting for the group reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly). This role is based in Central London and offers hybrid working (2 days in office min). Looking for someone to start in mid-May/late-May.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal group treasury reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Responsibility for hedge accounting documentation and mark to market valuations
- Reconciliation of settlements and bank accounts (treasury management system to bank account and ledger)
- Responsible with administering and submission Treasury accounting reports to CKI 3a, 3b, 7a, 7b
- Provision of information for stakeholders, auditors and financial statements
- Ensuring all treasury activity is correctly accounted for in the treasury management system and financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Confirmation of Treasury activity / dealing with counterparties including FX and interest rate swaps, interest claims, commitment fees and other interest fees with counterparty
- Ensure compliance with counterparty credit limits
- Approval of changes to standard settlement instructions (SSIs) and standing data on banking systems and the group’s treasury management system
- Overall responsibility and continuing development of treasury processes
- Working with Treasury to identify areas of improvement within the treasury management system
Experienced with cash analytics and cashflow forecasting
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equiv)
- Experienced with hedge accounting and understanding of interest rate swaps
- Desirable – experience with treasury management system
