Role Overview: As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will join a team of experts managing a portfolio of clients, ranging from multinationals to mid-tier companies across various industries. You will play a pivotal role in providing up-front scoping, engagement planning, and technical expertise to ensure compliance and minimise tax risk for clients. Collaboration, innovation, and client-centricity are key aspects of this role, as you will work closely with stakeholders, manage budgets, and contribute to the growth and profitability of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engagement planning and scoping discussions with clients.
  • Coordinate with the Data Management team to streamline data collection processes.
  • Review and submit tax accounting schedules.
  • Provide technical approval for the submission of corporation tax returns.
  • Identify opportunities for related client services and assist clients in managing tax risk.
  • Maintain high-level client contact and manage workload effectively.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the growth and profitability of the team through business development initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong UK corporate tax knowledge.
  • Preferably hold an accountancy or tax professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ATT, CTA) or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrates a client service ethos and flexible approach.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Proven track record in business development and networking.
  • Effective delegation and coaching skills.
