Assistant Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month end close. Manage and review journal entries, account reconciliations, process order closure and allocations.
• Quarterly Reporting.
• Review inventories and reporting & analysis of variances.
• Prepare annual property tax returns.
• Perform cost accounting for process costing including absorption rates, cost estimates, product set-up, activity rates, and SKU profitability.
• Perform sales analysis and reconciliation of Sold Position, absorption of cost drivers, and Exposure report.
• Manage new capital project analysis, capital tracking and management.
• Manage the sites financial reporting including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, operational, Spending and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Dashboard, and various cost projects.
• Provide audit support, both to internal and external auditors.
• Act as Strategic Business Partner to multiple facilities.

Requirements:

• 5+ Years of Cost Accounting experience – Manufacturing industry is a must.
• Experience managing a team as this role has direct reports
• CPA or CPA Eligible (flexible on experience level for CPA)
• SAP experience
