Are you ready to step into a dynamic position at the intersection of tax compliance and advisory? Our client is seeking Senior Managers across the UK to work within their clients and hence play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to their clients.

The Role:

As a Senior Manager in the hybrid in-house tax compliance and advisory role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to clients’ in-house tax and finance teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day tax matters for a portfolio of clients, serving as their primary contact.
  • Proactively engaging with key client stakeholders to discuss new projects, updates, and technical changes.
  • Identifying and addressing tax risks, opportunities, and challenges with practical, business-specific recommendations.
  • Providing expert guidance on tax technical queries, compliance obligations, and tax reporting.
  • Overseeing all aspects of tax projects, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of junior staff, fostering their development and growth.
  • Contributing to the growth and profitability of our practice through new business development and client relationship management.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong UK corporate tax skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Preferably hold an accountancy or tax professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent) or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • A client-service ethos with flexibility to adapt to diverse client needs.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with stakeholders and senior client personnel.
  • Ability to drive new business through referrals, networking, and client opportunity identification.
  • Effective delegation skills and a commitment to coaching junior staff.
