Join the US Tax team of a leading Top advisory firm as a US Tax Assistant Manager. A newly created role reflecting their commitment to market expansion. You will be collaborating closely with the director and contribute to building an exceptional service line within an already respected brand.

Your responsibilities include managing a portfolio of US clients, leading tax projects, ensuring compliance, and fostering client relationships. As the role is primarily US Tax focused this role will suit professionals specialised in US/UK Tax, but hoping to move away from a dual handling role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an US client portfolios, overseeing tax compliance and relationship management.
  • Execute tax strategies for clients with US and UK interests.
  • Oversee and handle US tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide proactive tax advice and support to clients, collaborating with senior team members.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff and collaborate with the wider tax team.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferable, but we welcome strong candidates with relevant experience but are still studying towards the qualifications.
  • Experience in US tax compliance and advisory services is essential. Knowledge of UK tax regulations is highly preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff effectively.
  • Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
