Tax Manager, Enfield

This large local accountancy firm based in North London are currently looking to hire into their private client tax team. The firm has been highly successful and continues to grow, and therefore they wish to take on a tax specialist into the team however they want to underline that they still work as very much a family friendly firm. They are happy to work in flexible manner as they are more interested in the work people produce and adopt practices such as flexible working, casual dress and “music whilst you work”.

Within the role you will undertake the following responsibilities:

Preparing tax returns for individuals, sole traders and partnerships

Providing a full and personal tax compliance service as required by the circumstances of each client

Preparing tax computations for income tax and corporation tax purposes

Preparing letters to clients that accompany their tax returns

Dealing with correspondence from HM Revenue & Customs

Dealing with client tax investigations that may arise

Ensuring tax quality at all times by adhering to the firms set standards

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
