RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee aspects of U.S. tax compliance, including the preparation and review of income tax calculations, returns and related filings and oversight of third-party preparer.
  • Lead and oversee international tax aspects of tax compliance and planning, including but not limited to global intangible low taxed income (“GILTI”), Subpart F, management of currency related risk and development and implementation of Pillar 2 strategy.
  • Research and analyze complex tax issues, proposing solutions and strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Assist Senior Leadership on global tax planning strategies, internal restructuring projects and M&A to optimize tax efficiencies and minimize tax liabilities, including modeling tax planning scenarios.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting and legal departments to ensure alignment on tax-related matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the organization and recommending necessary adjustments.
  • Assist with audits and inquiries from tax authorities, preparing responses and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Mentor and develop staff, providing training and guidance to foster professional growth within the tax department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification required.
  • 5 (+) years of relevant tax experience, with Big-4 experience or similar industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with U.S. tax laws and regulations, including tax reform provisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues involving multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and interact with external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work deliverables.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
