Senior Tax Lawyer – Not for Profit Team

Nationwide (Mainly Remote)

Full-time or Part-time (min 0.6 FTE)

As a Senior Tax Lawyer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the team, providing high-quality legal and strategic advice to a diverse range of clients. You’ll have the opportunity to lead on tax advice and transactional matters, supervise junior team members, and contribute to the growth and development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert tax advice to charities, social enterprises, and not-for-profit organisations.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high standards of client service.
  • Develop expertise in charity and social enterprise tax and contribute to the firm’s internal knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Key Experience:

  • Private practice or in-house lawyer with at least 7 years PQE in tax.
  • Qualified tax adviser (ATT or CIOT) or accountant, with a focus on charity and social enterprise tax.
  • Strong commitment to furthering your career in this field and making a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
