Senior Corporate Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare and record all asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries
- Reconcile and analyze accounts to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and accounts balance to sub ledgers. Research and resolve any issues identified.
- Consolidate, reconcile, review, and analyze financial information.
- To perform statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and document findings.
- To ensure that periodic revenues are recognized in compliance with US GAAP.
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Investigate new areas for process improvement and searching for new ways to be more efficient.
- Partner with the operations team to address inquiries on unusual transactions.
- Prepare annual consolidated financial statements including footnotes and external reporting
- packages.
- Calculate, record, and classify monthly revenues from the company’s different products, perform analytical procedures and investigate fluctuations from budget.
- You will spearhead our annual financial audits and work with the external Auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5 years+ general accounting experience.
- CPA Preferred
- Advanced skills with Excel.
- Experience with month-end/year-end close process.
- Audit experience required.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License.
