Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and record all asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries
  • Reconcile and analyze accounts to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and accounts balance to sub ledgers. Research and resolve any issues identified.
  • Consolidate, reconcile, review, and analyze financial information.
  • To perform statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and document findings.
  • To ensure that periodic revenues are recognized in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Investigate new areas for process improvement and searching for new ways to be more efficient.
  • Partner with the operations team to address inquiries on unusual transactions.
  • Prepare annual consolidated financial statements including footnotes and external reporting
  • packages.
  • Calculate, record, and classify monthly revenues from the company’s different products, perform analytical procedures and investigate fluctuations from budget.
  • You will spearhead our annual financial audits and work with the external Auditors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 5 years+ general accounting experience.
  • CPA Preferred
  • Advanced skills with Excel.
  • Experience with month-end/year-end close process.
  • Audit experience required.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License.
