Our client is a leading global consultancy firm with a 30 year history and an expertise in Treasury & Risk. As part of their growth to support their clients in the Nordics, they are building up their team in Sweden by hiring a few consultants – one of which to take on the role of Manager, Treasury Advisory.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of treasury advisory projects, including assisting clients with establishing their target operating model, setting financial risk management strategies and optimising their current treasury processes
  • Advise clients on their treasury technology solutions, including re-defining current technology practises, defining the long term treasury technology roadmap, vendor selection and/or implementation of treasury technology solutions
  • Manage treasury advisory projects from start to finish, ensuring that deliverables are submitted to clients at a high quality, on a timely basis and in line with the agreed engagement terms
  • Assist with setting the budget for the project and managing the budget once the project commences
  • Coach junior team members
  • Drive business development, by maintaining good client relationships and identifying new business/project opportunities
  • Keep up to date with the latest market/product developments and treasury technology advancements
  • Participate in and host internal and external knowledge delegation sessions, such as treasury boot camps, guest lecture events and internal trainings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Treasury or Treasury Consulting
  • Strong knowledge in Treasury (Treasury Management, Treasury Management Systems, In-House Banking, Payment Factories, Bank Connectivity etc.)
  • Implementation knowledge in treasury management systems of vendors such as SAP, FIS, ION, Kyriba and other related tools such as SWIFT
  • Experience in leading/managing projects and/or people management will be beneficial
  • Commercial mindset with an interest to build
  • Some working experience in Sweden/The Nordics is preferred
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in Swedish or another Nordic language is preferred
  • Hold a passport or visa to work in Sweden
  • Willingness to travel
