VAT Manager part time – Retail – Up to £90k FTE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing online retail group currently going through Significant growth. In this varied and you will be predominantly working on indirect tax with opportunity to work on Direct tax and transfer pricing issues too. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, who is looking for the next step in their career with a fast pace continuously evolving business. A friendly, outgoing, problem solver, and great team player that is dedicated to business will flourish within this hard-working team.

You will be part of our Finance team and work very closely with the Head of Finance. You will be responsible for the company’s international Indirect tax compliance, tax planning, and tax reporting, whilst also getting involved in advisory and project related work. The role involves interaction with many of the group teams including Senior Management Team, providing a breadth of exposure in this highly commercial role.

The ideal candidate will be qualified OR qualified by experience (at least 3-4 years of tax experience). You must be a self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams & have a strong background in indirect tax (VAT) with a keen interest to learn more about other areas of tax, including corporate tax & transfer pricing.
