My clients Tax and Legal team are now looking for a Valuations Director to join their exciting and growing department.
You will be managing a portfolio of valuation clients/projects and be responsible for the timely completion and quality delivery of engagements.
You will support other Partners and Directors with project work, build strong client relationships, initiate and deliver marketing and business development projects.
You will also be required to lead a team of more junior staff; mentoring them to develop their professional skills and providing technical training where needed. The right candidate will work alongside partners, to provide bespoke tax advice to clients.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
The candidate should have experience in the preparation of valuation reports and ensure that the firms risk management and client take-on procedures have appropriately been complied with.
Provide effective project management of valuation engagements from inception to completion.
Carry out relevant technical research relevant to a specific area of valuations – disseminate key findings to the valuation team.
Skills and Experience:
Significant valuation experience at a sufficiently senior level gained from another professional services firm.
Proficiency in a number of valuation techniques including: discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and other derivatives pricing, intangible asset valuation techniques.
Adept ability to interpret financial statements in the context of valuations.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset.
Strong business writing, analytical and excel modelling skills.
