Our client is a prominent US multinational and is searching for a UK Tax Manager to join the team in Aberdeen. This tax job is paying up to £80,000 plus bonus.

As the UK Tax Manager, you will take the lead on all UK tax matters of the business and be supported by a Tax Accountant who will report into you. There will be a direct reporting line to the International Tax Senior Manager who will guide you in this role. Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Implement corporate tax strategy in UK.
  • Manage all tax compliance-related activities in UK, managing tax audits and all correspondence with tax authorities.
  • Manage UK tax affairs to ensure compliance with local and US law, including conducting reviews into internal controls as required by Sarbanes Oxley Act 404.
  • Assist with ad hoc advisory and project work.

To be considered, you should be ATT, CTA, and/or ADIT qualified and experienced in UK tax compliance. Your ability to communicate effectively with important stakeholders will also be assessed.

In return, you will receive a salary package of up to £80,000 plus bonus, a car allowance, and private medical. The team work on a hybrid basis and goes into the office 2-3 days a week.
